Kidstuff is a new venture inspired by talking to parents and (gasp!) finding out what they really want.

We aim to avoid bringing kids into the strange world of the studio and photograph them instead in the surroundings where they feel most comfortable - their own home.  Capturing that look of sleepy contentment, or devilish glee as they grab something they shouldn't, is what it's all about.

Jeanette Dawson has been a professional photographer in Clitheroe, in Lancashire, for over ten years mostly doing weddings and portraits - and even a spell doing the dreaded 'school photographs' (so she knows how intimidating photographers can be).  She has two children of her own and doesn't even scare them!

Children's Organizations

Kidstuff occasionally advertises in newspapers and magazines but we prefer to participate in fundraising for children's organizations.  We have worked with toddler groups, NCT, children's shops etc.  If you run such an organization we would be happy to advertise in your newsletter and to make donations in exchange for bookings.  Group bookings are especially welcome - anywhere in the North of England.
